Urban Bank keeps one customer record. A hold you see on the phone is the same hold the desk sees. A fee on desktop is the same fee on the app. We do not keep a second balance for a second screen.

You can open Urban on the phone you already carry and on a desktop at home or at work. You do not need a special tablet from the bank. If a payment is waiting, every device that is signed in to your account shows the wait.

How it works

You sign in once per device. The app and the website both read the same ledger. When a transfer posts, the amount, the fee, and any hold note update on the next refresh. You do not wait for a nightly file to catch up.

If you freeze a card on the phone, the freeze is already there when you open desktop. If a banker adds a note at the counter, that note is on the phone when you leave the branch.

Devices do not invent their own status. If two screens disagree, treat the branch printout as the check and tell us — that is a defect, not a feature.

• The same pending item, with the same hold sentence
• The fee before you confirm, on either screen
• A card freeze that applies to the card, not to one app only

Small phones clip a long hold note. We keep the first line identical to the desk. Open the item to read the rest. We do not hide a fee behind a “details” link on one device and show it in full on another.

What this is not

This page is not an internet-banking dashboard with a separate login product. It describes how Urban Bank presents the same account on more than one device. Opening an account still happens with a banker or through Talk to us.

How to start

Bring photo ID to a Mumbai branch, or send the contact form. After the account is open, install the app and sign in on desktop with the details the banker gives you. If a screen is missing a hold that the desk has, write to support with the time and the amount — we match the two records.
