Faster & Cheaper

See the fee before you send a transfer.

Faster and cheaper only mean something if you can read the fee and the clock. Urban Bank shows the fee before you send. If a transfer is same-day, the cut-off is on the screen. If it is not same-day, we do not write “instant” on a banner.

Cheaper is compared with a send that hid the fee until the statement. It is not a promise that Urban Bank is the lowest fee on every corridor, every day.

How it works

You enter destination and amount. The fee line fills in before confirm. You can stop. A send after confirm uses that fee unless the screen said the fee would be set later — we avoid that wording unless it is true.

Same-day rails have a cut-off. Miss it and the arrival moves to the next working day we publish. Weekends and holidays follow the calendar on the confirm screen, not a social post.

Returned payments can take the fee back or not, depending on the rail. The return reason is the hold or return note, in the same language as other Urban Bank notes.

What you see

  • Fee before confirm, as a number, not only an icon
  • Cut-off time when the product is same-day
  • Arrival in working days when we have an estimate
  • No “from Rp 0” on a page if confirm will never be zero for that send

What this is not

This feature is not a coupon engine. A campaign bonus is an offer with rules — often a direct deposit or a first send. Faster & Cheaper is the default habit of printing the fee.

We also do not speed a payment by skipping a required check. A slower send with a hold is still the honest send.

How to start

Use the app or the desk. Read the fee. If a page on this site and the confirm screen disagree, trust confirm and tell us so we fix the page. Talk to us if you need a corridor’s current fee before you travel to a branch.
