Simple international payment
A transfer that lists destination, fee, and arrival.
An international payment at Urban Bank is simple when the screen is complete: where it goes, what it costs, what rate applies, and when we think it arrives. Missing one of those lines is how a “simple” send becomes a complaint.
You still need a permitted purpose and a corridor we support. Simple is the layout, not a waiver of checks.
How it works
You enter the beneficiary the way the destination bank asks — name, account, bank code. We show the fee and the rate (or a “rate later” line if that is truly the product). Arrival is in working days when we publish one. You confirm after those lines are visible.
Some countries need extra papers. We ask before we take the fee for a send we already know will bounce. If we only learn after the rail returns the payment, the return note says so.
The desk uses the same order of fields. A walk-in customer should not get a clearer fee line than the app. If they do, the app is unfinished.
What you see
- Beneficiary name and destination country
- Send amount, converted amount, and rate
- Transfer fee before confirm
- Arrival estimate or a sentence that we do not have one yet
- A hold note if compliance or the rail is still working
What this is not
Simple international payment is not “send anywhere, no questions”. It is not a guarantee against beneficiary-bank delays. It is not a live FX widget on a blog post. Example amounts on this site are examples.
International transfers need an Urban Bank account opened with a banker. This marketing site does not send money on its own.
How to start
Ask which corridors your account may use. Bring the invoice or the purpose if we ask. Confirm only when destination, fee, and rate are all on the screen. Use Talk to us or a Mumbai branch if the app still cannot list your destination.
